I'm sure this is a great group of lawyers but my experience is that they didn't lower my property tax burden any more than I could have myself. You see, I live in Williamson County and during the appeal period I visited the tax office in person and they offered to lower my tax burden somewhat. Thinking that I'd do better with a lawyer, I turned it down and requested the services of Five Stone. They ended up getting the same offer that I turned down but now, I have to pay for it, instead of getting it for free if I would have accepted the county's initial offer. I guess that's the risk you take, there are no guarantees. I don't begrudge them for billing me but I may think twice next time.
