The Law firm of Mark Williams attorneys was established on the 28 May 2007, by Mark Williams. Mark Williams is holding B. Proc Law Degree, which was obtained at Vista University in Port Elizabeth on the 19th April 1996. He joined the firm of Geduld, Alexander, Petersen and Vandayar Attorneys, a highly prominent firm of attorneys that specializes in Personal Injury Law as well as Criminal Law. In year 1997 he started his two year learnership as a Candidate Attorney. He was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa on the 19 August 2000 at the Grahamstown Supreme Court. His employer at Geduld Petersen and Vandayar Attorneys asked him to stay with the firm and joined the firm as an Associate attorney for a period of two year post admission. During June 2002, Mr. Williams joined Road Accident Fund and for the next 7 years, received intensive training and experience working as a Legal Claims Officer (handler) at the Road Accident Fund in East London. At Road Accident Fund he was mandated to access claims, researched on all case law, current and land mark cases regarding Road Accident Fund matters. He made decisions on the amount to pay claimants. Whilst working at the Road Accident Fund, Mr. Williams noticed that a huge number of claimants that have to wait several years before receiving compensation for their injuries. Having identifying the problematic areas and cataloged them, he decided to open his own Law firm who specializes in RAF claims.
