Aric Cramer, Attorney at Law
Reviews
I retained Aric after being convicted of a 2nd degree felony sex offense. I work in the health care industry and was accused by an elderly gentleman with whom I had never had any issues or problems. These allegations were totally out of the blue and could happen to anyone. It really proved what a precarious, potentially life changing position healthcare workers can be exposed to in their daily duties. I was wrongly accused of this crime and refused a plea deal, even an Alford plea. I did not commit a crime and I refused to even consider a plea deal, that is how much my innocence meant to me, it is a decision that could have cost me a life sentence. My public defender begged me to take a plea and did a less than professional job defending me in my trial. I was charged with a 1st degree felony and the consequences for being found guilty carried a 5 to life sentence, the jury found me guilty of a lesser offense hence the 2nd degree conviction. My PD was never fully invested in my case and was frankly under qualified and ill equipped to mount a proper defense. From the time Aric was retained he was very professional, knowledgeable, and was very proactive in moving forward with my situation, most importantly (to me) was that he believed in my innocence. Aric essentially came into this situation with his hands tied since I had already been found guilty. Aric wrote many motions including an appeal for a new trial, and in an unprecedented maneuver was able to get my felony conviction dropped. This was huge as I was destined to have a felony conviction and a life time on the sex offender registry in my future. I have never heard of anyone being tried, convicted and sentenced having their charges dropped. I wish I would have retained Aric Cramer at the beginning of this ordeal as I am positive we most likely would have never had to plea out or go to trial. I would highly recommend Aric to anyone who wants an engaged, knowledgeable, attorney. Aric was very interested in my opinions and ideas and was always quick to respond to my calls and e-mails. Aric believes in justice and civil rights, he is an attorney for all the right reasons and in my opinion he is one of the very best in the business.
I got into trouble with my employer wanting me to do some illegal things. When they turned on me I was really afraid I would take the fall. After days of worrying about the problem I was convinced I needed to see how exposed I was. I looked online at every criminal attorney in St. George and called 3. Aric talked to me in person on the phone and made me feel better just setting the appointment. He suggested a very early appointment the next morning so I could get some relief and still go to work. Aric listened to my problem, gave me solid advice about what to do about the situation and gave me his card with instructions to call if things got worse. That gave me the relief I needed to be able to change jobs without worrying every time the phone rang.
I made a huge mistake and got a DUI in St. George. I never had any trouble before and was really scared. Aric made a really bad situation much better and his advice helped me get through the whole thing without ruining my finances along with my reputation.
A friend recommended Aric when I needed a laywer on a drug charge. He was very professional and reasonable in his fees. Everything worked out better than expected. Recommended.
