I am writing this review on behalf of my daughter who recently went through a divorce. I am a mother of three who was in need of a divorce and at the time was a stay at home mom. Someone told me about Gary Temple and I went to see him. As I stated I have THREE kids and when it was all said and done the case never actually went to court it was settled in mediation. This was after I had paid over 5,000.00 to Mr. Temple and endured the threat that if I didn't come up with 1,200.00 before close of business he would drop my case (this was pretty early on in the process and I had already given him 2,500.00 to get started). I went to my parents to get a loan and paid him so I would not have to start all over. In total it has ended up costing me approximately 7-8 THOUSAND dollars and I am now receiving 450.00 per month in child support. From mediation my financial support went DOWN 350.00 per month. Mr. Temple didn't seem concerned with that fact and still expects me to be able to pay the remaining 1,800.00 without time to find a job and get on my feet. I have kept in constant contact with Mr. Temple's office on my financial situation. I have recently became employed and I contacted Mr. Temple's office to let them know I would be able to begin making payments again and get this paid off quickly. After notifying them I then learned he was filing something within the court for non-payment. I called and told them I would have the 1,800.00 paid within 90 days and they said that was not satisfactory and they plan to continue the court route. This lawyer is only in it for the money. He does not care that he charges for every minute of his time and then takes young mothers to court when he successfully helps them become impoverished so that it is nearly impossible to settle his bill! I have good credit and i pay my bills and I FULLY intent to have this man paid off within the 90 days as this is what I have given my word to fulfill. I would suggest you keep looking if you are trying to endure a divorce and expect that your lawyer is more interested in you and your children than he is his own financial gain.
