I just got a call from them on my cell. I don't talk to telemarketers and I don't directly answer calls from anyone who calls from a restricted number. They called from an 800 number, so I did return their call from another phone. I got a recorded message from "Sabrina" but no live person answered. I left many voice mails for Sabrina indicating I needed to talk to her and not to a machine. Finally Sabrina answered one of my calls in person. She said they were a company called allianceone. She wanted to know the number of the phone where she left the message or my full legal name. She said they handle third party issues for various corporations and businesses. She couldn't give me any information about the company. Note that the company name she gave me is 'allainceone', not 'Alliance One'. However, they appear to be the same entity based on web searches. I finally gave up and hung up on her.

This company operates illegally. They called people with my last name and told them that they were an old friend and tried to get personal contact information. When I called them, they did not return my phone calls. They have never written to me to date. I don't even know what they are calling about. They operate illegally, which is clearly what they do to others as there are so many negative things written about them online. These are people who misrepreswent themselbves, leave private and confidentilal information on other people's voicemails.
