Rose Merante was appointed as my daughters law guardian. Let me say she was RUDE she spoke down on me. it took her almost 2 months to get our order out bc she was ON VACATION! do it before you leave!! she accused my husband of being an abuser WITHOUT even speaking to him. I was trying to explain to her certain things that lead up to WHY I was in court and she pretty much told me that a 15 years old child SHOULDN'T be punished. Granted she is representing my child but you should be collecting information from ALL parties not just details from a troubled 15yrs old!! she advised me to sign up for family counseling which I agreed to doing it with myself my daughter and my husband and she told me that he(MY husband) is NOT her family my daughters family is myself and her dad. I havent been with her dad since she was a new born. I called her on the phone to find out what my rights are since my daughter did decide her dad ISNT the better match she told me "BC IM living with THAT guy" meaning my husband I might not get her back! bc according to her we are "ABUSERS",she is going on CPS cases that are ALL UNFOUNDED cases again from a troubled 15years old. please consider getting another lawyer or if she is appointed to you I'd ask for someone else!!! RUN!!!!
