This doesn't help Mississippi's national reputation! Perhaps 5 hours of self-imposed penance in the county jail would atone for this very public breach of constitutional protections. Can judges sentence themselves? They certainly seem capable of self-imposed judicial damage.

This is a judge who jailed a lawyer for contempt because the lawyer refused to recite the pledge of allegiance. Land of the free? Whoever told you that is your enemy.

Imprisoned an attorney for failing to say the Pledge of Allegiance in court. I'm sure the irony is lost on him. Someone with such little regard for the constitution should not be a judge in this country.
