My mother in law is currently going through a divorce, and she chose Laura as her lawyer since she claimed she wanted this case. Now, she doesn't call her back, acts like shes bothering her, and is plain rude to her. Apparently you have to give her more money for her to continue to be nice to you. All she does is work with her cheating ex husbands lawyer, and does nothing to help her out. She must have something going on with him, or they paid her. She doesn't do her job what so ever, don't pick her as YOUR lawyer, she won't care about you either. I wish I could say even worse things about her... but I have to bite my tounge for google.
I would highly recommend hiring this lawyer. Unless you're legal needs are estate matters, real estate, contract law, wills, divorces, or most any other legal matter. As I understand it, her bread and butter is plea bargaining indigents through the system by court appointment. It takes several contacts before she'll get back to you. I get the impression her main goal will be billable hours.But if you need your car washed, she's the one to call. She might even make a decent sandwich. Who knows, I'm still waiting for a call back.
