My son is a freshman at Indiana University. His first weekend in Bloomington, he was arrested and spent the night in the county jail. When my son called me at 7 AM, I listened, tried to stay calm, and proceeded on that Sunday to find a local attorney for advice. One of the first names to come up in my search was Mary Higdon. I called the number on her website expecting to leave a message. However, I was greeted with a pleasant voice as my call was answered on a Sunday! Mary was professional, assured me that my son would receive the best counsel, answered all my questions and I felt a great sense of relief when I hung up the phone. My son met with Mary, received excellent counsel and his case was dismissed after following her guidelines for steps that my son was to take and execute before the court date.
Although, this will be an anonymous review due to the nature of the charges, this does not diminish how thoroughly I appreciate all of Mary's help through this process.
