I can not give this company a rating at all because the ignorance and disrespect shown was horrifying. Chris Jones or at least that is the name that he gave out displayed unprofessionalism on the highest level possible. I received a call from another collection agency who quoted me a balance on a bill that Malcolm S. Gerald and associates (MSG) had been collecting on. I became alarm that I received a call from this other company and right away contact MSG. Chris jones informed me he would take care of the situation and until he contacts me do not pay anything. I waited for his call which took almost 5 days until today 11/18/2014) when he called requesting payment on my bill. I stopped him and ask him if he recall our last conversation, and what was the results of that. I was surprised that our conversation 5 days previous regarding the other collection agency was not the first thing Chris jones talked about. I then became apprehensive and asked more question which included a request of receipts or documentation of what I had already paid. Chris Jones instantly became upset and offensive and began to accuse me of questioning his integrity. I responded to him by saying this is not a personal matter this is business matter, and I question you because, one its my right and two it's my bill. I told him I had been scammed in the past and want to make sure everything is on the up and up. . He then proceeded to raise his voice, cut me off and say we have made arrangements with you, talk to the other agency and then you question us. he then proceeded to tell me I can call UOP if I wanted to verify. I agreed with him and said great I will call UOP and then if all is well I will call you back. He then shouted NO and the arrangement in which we had agreed upon would be a final payment closing my account was off the table. He then proceeded to hang up on me. I waited for 30 min and then called and spoke with a female stating she was the supervisor. She allowed me to explain my story then proceeded to tell me that she was next to Chis Jones and heard the conversation. I asked her if she heard him disrespecting me and if she knew that he hung up on me. She stated "I left the area before the call ended". She then proceeded to tell me that even if I would have paid my so called final payment that my account would not be closed. I told her that is not the conversation or agreement that Chris Jones and I had. She basically stated she don't care what he said, and that if I want to make another arrangement it would not be for the amount Chris Jones and I agreed upon, it would be an addition 600.00 dollars. I am appalled be the ignorance that these people display. This unprofessional behavior by uneducated people has left a fowl taste in my mouth and rest assure this is absolutely ridiculous and will be reported to the appropriate people.

MSG 11584371 called me on my mobile, claiming he was attempting to collect a debt. I politely informed him that i have been harrassed for more than two years now on a bill that I have absolutlely no idea what it is for and to provide me with proof with something I signed, or anything to show me I had a bill from 2006. I know that prior to this call, I have had three different companies call on this, The worst being Pinnacle credit, suggesting that they sell the loan off, continue to ruin my credit by posting a collection that is not valid and will not even try and listen to my situation. At this point I am going to contact the attorney General and see if I can get some help from them! It is downright disgusting that collection companies can do this and get away with this kind of modern robbery.

just got a call and like all calls if I dont know them I dont answer

This is fraudulent company I used to work for. They would hand us phone books and make us collect on old ladies. They would have us tell them they owe on a magazine subscription or phone bill which was completely fabricated. Call the police if they call you.

The bastard keeps calling my office number. I have no idea who he is, or why he is calling, but I do know that he is a real nuisance.
