Dan attempted to defend my husband for 3 separate DUI's. He also drove him to a facility in Tucson one day after he bumped into him down Nogales way. My husband was so wasted the cabby and I had to carry him to the front door when he got a taxi ride "home". It was imperative that my husband go to jail before he killed someone. Rehab and all efforts to save him failed. He died in Nogales. I carried him across the border in a box. Mr. Montgomery called once to collect funds due. I never heard from him again. I guess DUI attorneys are never killed by drunk drivers. I would not recommend him to anyone unless I dislike them very much. I would have thought his declining to represent my husband after 2 DUI arrests in 2 months would have shown he had some scruples A third 8 months later and the the unavoidable knowledge he suffered from alcoholism and addiction and was going to kill if not stopped. I did all I could to keep him off the streets. He killed only himself. My family cannot be recompensed for all that was lost and 3 years later, we strive to overcome the tragedy. Mr. Montgomery I hold in low esteem.
