Hiring Scott and his team was the best thing that I could have done for my SSDI, STD, and LTD cases. Although my LTD case has not been concluded yet, Scott and his team were able to successfully help me to get my STD benefits and then to win a case in front of one of the most difficult Administrative Law Judges in Arizona. I'm fairly positive that I would not have won my case without Scott in my corner. He has the experience and knowledge to know what needs to be done and to make sure that you are seen and evaluated by the appropriate individuals. Plus, he does everything on a contingency basis - if he doesn't win your case, you don't owe him anything. His staff has always been helpful, encouraging, and accessible. They have walked me through completing paperwork, and even sent me emails to offer encouragement when I was feeling defeated. My appointments with them (especially Scott) have always been flexible, working around my need to attend multiple doctor's appointments. I highly recommend utilizing Scott as your attorney if you find yourself in need of one for disability - especially for chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and other similar disorders.
One is fortunate to find Atty. Scott Davis while in the abyss. His demeanor illuminates and restores hope. A superior and tenaciously dedicated advocate. Impossible to thank him enough for making a way where there was none but prohibited darknesd. Finally, a brilliant beam of light trumped only by his character. Clearly one in a trillion. Michael H. This law firm took excellent care of me. All calls were either answered immediately or promptly returned. All information to and from the company were sent to me so I always know what is going on with my case. i would highly recommend Scott, he really does care about his clients. They did take my appeal and I won. The thing with Scott is he needs to be prepared so it is very important to follow what he says to the letter so that he and you have all of the information needed to win your case. He is not arrogant or condescending he is concerned and has always treated me with kindness, even took a few loses on his part to make sure I was taken care of. What lawyer does that in this day and age? If you need someone tough to handle your case call him.
The staff is amazing. They are always available and return calls promptly. Mr Davis has built a great office with an excellent service oriented outstanding group of people especially Britany and Lisa and Jennifer. They really care about my claim and my situation and treat me as if im the most important client they have. Would definitely recommend!
Hiring this attorney was the worst mistake I have ever made in my life. Prior to my hearing in front of the judge they made several appointments without my knowledge and then they would proceed to become very upset that I didn't call them at the designated time which I knew nothing about because they never bothered to call or email me to tell me of any said appointment. Whenever I did get a call to schedule an appointment they were less than flexible and wouldn't even attempt to schedule it at a time that would be easy for me- it was their time or nothing. It was impossible to get calls back or answers to questions and there was ALWAYS someone different handling things. The right hand never knew what the left was doing and I never once got to speak with a real attorney until a week before my hearing. Because of their lack of organization I lost my case in front of the judge and needed to file an appeal. After receiving the denial letter from SS I called them several times and left messages to ask what we were going to do from here and no one would return my call. I also emailed them several times to no avail. When I finally got a real person on the phone she still wouldn't tell me what was going on and simply said that I would be "receiving something in the mail from them." Well, I sure did receive something in the mail- a HUGE box with my entire case file in it- over 7 years worth of medical records in no particular order, approx 1500 pages that were not organized and simply rubber banded together with a note on top stating that they do not handle appeals and that I would be on my own from here out that they were withdrawing from the case. What kind of attorney drops you like that when you are the most in need? I was in shock and totally sickened that they couldn't have even had the courtesy to tell me this via phone or email all the times that I had been trying to contact them. They were cowards and would only tell me to wait for something in the mail when they knew full well that they were not going to help. To top it off, there are literally NO attorneys in town who will take a case at this level of appeal when it has already been handled by another lawyer- I have called at least 15 and no one will even so much as LOOK at it. So once this incompetent office drops you, you are completely and totally screwed because no one else will touch it. Because of this I am stuck trying to figure out how to file this appeal all on my own. As I try to go through this giant box of medical records that they so rudely sent to me, I have found complete medical records for TWO other individuals mixed in with mine. I now have the complete name, social security numbers, addresses, and medical and work histories of two people that I don't even know. Can you imagine what I could do with this information if I were a thief? In summary, if you don't want to lose your case, get left out in the cold in the worst time of need and have your medical records and social security numbers sent out to other people that you don't even know DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!
