I met with Ronald Greening in 2006 to consider hiring him to represent me in a large law suit which involved about 100 claimants. I declined his representation, due to his seemingly careless, impersonal, and even condescending attitude (which he keeps in reserve until he determines how much money he can make from you). As the case progressed, another fellow claimant did hire Greening. I believe they found him to be overpriced, as I witnessed his contribution in the case to be very little, yet his cost was high. Even more concerning, is Greening's recent activity in our case. I was appalled at his stereotypical heartless lawyer behavior. About 20 attorneys signed an undisputed motion which was to be presented to Judge Herman of the State Probate Court 1. I and fellow claimants had lost millions of dollars in a ponzi/investment scheme. After almost 2 years of a grueling legal battle, a motion for some of the final monies to be distribution to the claimants was circulated for attorney signatures (November 2008). We learned that Ron Greening was the only party who refused to sign the motion, though I understand he had not actively participated in the case in over a year. But his refusal was not on the basis of the validity of the motion. Rather, he apparently he got into a private fee dispute with another attorney. He was demanding even more funds from the money which is supposed to be paid to claimants, such as his own clients. To make his problem our problem, Greening attempted to block distribution of funds as leverage for his fee dispute. Fortunately, the Judge overlooked Greenings objections. I couldn't believe an attorney, who is hired to help people, used the situation to harm people, for his own personal gain.
The Greening Law Firm messed up everything. Do not trust this guy he is only out to make the most from fees, not only did he mess up my property deeds he also charged me in fees for more than the property we were contesting was worth. Stay away, buyer beware.
