Terrible attorney. To this day I am still dealing with issues that he should have handled in court with the judge. If you need an attorney to fight for you this is not your guy. He is a terrible defense attorney and will do nothing for you in domestic court as well. He will not stand up to Judge Smith and gives you terrible advice. He withdrew as my counsel without even telling me when he was caught laying to me and giving me false information. Stay away from this clown and this firm. Not work $350 an hour. First time I ever needed an attorney to this caliber and must say I was very disappointed in not only this firm but with Paul Hensley. Billing is very vague, never showed up to a court hearing and never told me. I sat for 4 hours until I found out that he was not coming. He is more interested in keeping the Judge happy for his more "important" clients and not the ones he will only make 70K or 80K from. Paul also left me on the stand with no cross-examination because “the judge was not interested and needed to be somewhere else” which is not what we discussed. Was not prepared for court which is not what I expected from a $300 an hour attorney and did not bring ANY of the evidence that I provided him with. He cuts too many deals behind closed doors with the judges without his client’s knowledge. Look elsewhere...and if you’re fighting for custody of your kids or just a divorce, you will not win with this man in Fairfield County with Judge Smith. He cuts “deals”. He is not a fighter. This review is not based on me losing, but how I lost and it never should have happened.
