Gallant Law

First off, I can't speak to this attorney's effectiveness or anything about his practice. I called him and left a message on Friday in regards to a case I was considering moving forward with. I just got a call back today (Monday). He was polite, however asked me for my address. I gave him my city and state, but he wanted my specific residential address. I asked why this was necessary and the only answer I got, was that he won't talk to anyone without knowing where they live, as well as some other details. I didn't bother to ask what the other questions were. I told him that I understood he wanted to have some general information about me, but I would prefer not to give specifics on an initial conversation. He said that he wasn't prepared to speak with me if that was the case. I said ok and wished him a goodnight. I find this very odd. Through my business, I have spoke with many attorneys and not one has asked for my specific address on an initial conversation. It makes me pretty uncomfortable to give personal and specific information to someone I've never spoke to before. This is why I give on 1 star.
