McNamara & Yates, P.C.
Reviews
My brothers and sister and I retained Attorney Bill Yates about 4 years ago on behalf of our mother to clean up and integrate all of her estate and personal documents. I found him very easy to work with - very thorough and extremely patient in answering my questions and engaging in two way discussion about our objectives. He has always been very responsive and prompt in his attention to any of our matters or requests. Tim McNamara has provided the same level of professionalism, courteous and timely responses, and knowledge to our matters. We will continue to rely on their expertise and counsel in all of our family matters. I have found their rates to be very fair and competitive. I knew Atty. Yates when he was a Marine Officer and a pilot in the helicopter squadron I was the Commanding Officer of in North Carolina. In that capacity he was extremely capable and a man of the highest integrity. As a result of this association we sought him out as an attorney when we learned he was in practice in this area. As an attorney for my family he has proven to be skilled and knowledgeable in the myriad of legal matters he has handled for us. His advice and counsel has been outstanding and we have been very satisfied with the legal services of his firm. I would highly recommend him as an attorney. Brian O'D USMC (ret)
McNamara & Yates helped me with legal matters that needed to be done when first my Dad passed away, then a few years later when my Mom passed away. They are my go to Law Firm to call when questions or services are needed. They are always extremely professional and I have recommended them several times without question. Thank you Bill & Tim. Sincerely, Marilyn Quinn
My family retained Tim McNamara to handle my sister's estate and I've been very disappointed. He sent out a court document with a huge error in it because he didn't read it. Then, when he saw I was posting negative reviews on the web about his firm he sent me this threatening email: "It has been called to my attention that you are posting disparaging comments on the internet about my firm, so that you have put me in a position that I cannot communicate with you any further. Please either remedy these comments and send me a complete list of where you have posted them, or have your attorney contact me." This is of course nonsense unless they repealed the first amendment without telling anyone. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for a probate attorney. I'm sure you can do better. I wish we had looked further. He's not cheap either.
I have used McNamara and Yates for my cafe in Osterville for the incorporation and all legal matters and have always received fast and very professional results. Tim McNamara even was kind enough to answer my emails while he was on vacation. I would highly recommend McNamara and Yates.
