I have never written a review but this matter has to be known to anyone who thinks about using this firm.
I secured services in January and was told by Joseph McCaffery that there is a $2000.00 retainer fee and that the only costs incured would be court filing fees, which he defineatly sent me a bill for right away. His billing is beyond outrageous and excessive in time spent. After paying my filing and appearance fees and canceling divorce i recieved another bill for $368.40 for service in which my retainer would cover! Please attention anyone who may think about using him DON"T!!!!!
This law firm saved my home. I was a victim of a predatory lender. Too good to be true and maybe I should have known better. But the lender wrongly transfered my mortgage and when the new lender came after me after my rates when out of control they found the transfer was wrong and invalid so I am still in my home 15 months after I thought I was going to be on the street. They know what they are doing and what the lenders are doing that is illegal and immoral and they were getting away with it in a lot of cases but these lawyers know how to stop them.
