Although I wound up with a fair settlement using Mr. Moser as my attorney, I highly recommended him to a friend and it appeared that he was not prepared for her case. He spent little time going over her case with her, and the witnesses, and even asked the wrong questions of his own witnesses. I know the circumstances were not good, that Mr. Moser's wife was in the hospital, and they had lost another attorney in their group, leaving him as the only standing representation. she would have been better off leaving with the other attorney, but I assumed that my experience would be a fair predictor of her experience and I could not have been farther off the mark on that one. Also, on Moser, he likes to talk his lingo, and goes over the same stuff on just about every meeting, regardless of whether it's rehashing the same old stuff, and billing by the minute. While no one expects free representation, it would be nice to be given the benefit of the doubt. He exceeded his own estimate by a factor of 4, and everything is being billed. When she moved to another attorney, she got more bills from Moser, for the time to transfer the case. Also, if you have limited resources, look at Brevard Legal Aid, since they won't take a client once the case is started. When she ran out of money, that left her with little options except borrowing from everyone to continue her defense with another attorney.
