have have used Catherine primarily for my divorce, and following the divorce questions about time sharing with kids and child support. I am a father with two teenage kids, and was married for about 15 years. I chose Catherine for a number of reasons. I needed a lawyer very familiar with family law, who would be able to empathise with both sides, and yet still ensure my best interests were taken care of. In addition I had complications, two jobs, one military and one civilian, debt, cars and a house to sort. I wanted someone that would be able to help solve what I needed, not necessarily what I say I want. That is a big difference in a divorce where emotions can warp your sense of reason. Catherine Robbie is very familiar with Family Law, was able to lead me through the implication of my military retirement, and the civilian bonus pay structure with me. In particular she prepared me well for the mediation making sure I was calm and well aware of the options and tools available for me. She has continued to be a resource, answering quick questions via email and talking me out of expensive alterations to the child support agreement. I will continue to use her and recommend her to friends.
